Ingredient glossary

Every ingredient,
explained plainly.

No competitor publishes one of these. We do — because you deserve to know exactly what you’re drinking and why it’s in there.

Quick answer

Redi’s ingredient glossary explains every component in plain language — the five essential electrolytes and their premium forms, plus Amplify’s energy actives (caffeine, Alpha-GPC, and NMN) — so you know exactly what each one does and why it’s included.

Most hydration brands hide behind buzzwords. This page does the opposite: a plain-language definition of every ingredient in Redi, what it does in your body, and why we chose the form we did. Bookmark it, share it, or read it before your first pack.

Sodium (Pink Himalayan Sea Salt)

The primary electrolyte your body loses in sweat, and the one your body loses the most of. Sodium drives fluid balance — it’s what lets you hold on to the water you drink instead of passing it straight through. It also supports nerve and muscle function. Redi sources its sodium from pink Himalayan sea salt rather than refined table salt, for a cleaner mineral profile.

Potassium (Potassium Chloride)

Works hand in hand with sodium to move fluid into your cells and keep your heartbeat and muscles steady. Potassium is one of the first minerals to run low during long physical work, and low potassium is a common cause of late-day muscle cramps.

Magnesium (Magnesium Malate)

Supports muscle recovery, nerve function, and energy production. Redi uses magnesium malate — magnesium bonded to malic acid, a compound involved in cellular energy — because it’s well absorbed and gentle on the stomach, unlike cheaper forms that can cause digestive upset.

Calcium (Calcium Citrate)

Essential for muscle contraction and nerve signaling — your muscles can’t fire properly without it. Citrate is a highly absorbable form that, unlike calcium carbonate, doesn’t need stomach acid to work, so it’s dependable whether you take it with food or on an empty stomach.

Chloride

Partners with sodium to maintain fluid balance and healthy pH. In Redi it comes naturally from sea salt, rounding out the five essential electrolytes your body sweats out.

Caffeine (in Amplify)

A blend of caffeine citrate and caffeine anhydrous for fast-acting, sustained energy without the crash. The two forms together give a smoother curve than a single hit. Found only in Amplify — Replenish is completely caffeine-free.

Alpha-GPC (in Amplify)

A choline compound that supports brain function, mental focus, and reaction time when it matters most. It’s part of what makes Amplify more than a caffeine drink — energy paired with clarity.

NMN (in Amplify)

Nicotinamide mononucleotide — supports cellular energy production and faster recovery between sessions. It’s a modern addition aimed at the long haul, not just the next hour.

What we don’t use

Redi is naturally sweetened with no artificial colors and no filler ingredients. If a component isn’t doing a real job for your hydration or energy, it isn’t in the pack. Every product is gluten-free, third-party tested, and made in the USA.

How to read an electrolyte label

Once you know what to look for, comparing hydration products gets a lot easier. Three things matter most. First, how many electrolytes — a complete formula has all five (sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, chloride), not just sodium. Second, the form of each mineral — citrate and malate forms tend to absorb well and sit gently, while the cheapest oxide and carbonate forms often don’t. Third, what else is in there — a short list of recognizable ingredients and minimal added sugar is a good sign; a long list of artificial colors and fillers is not.

Redi is built to pass that test on every line: five electrolytes, premium forms, naturally sweetened, no artificial colors, third-party tested. When you can read a label and understand every word on it, you can trust what you’re drinking — which is exactly the point of publishing this glossary in the first place.

Why “natural flavors” and sweeteners matter too

The electrolytes do the work, but the rest of the pack still ends up in your body, which is why we’re deliberate about it. Redi is naturally sweetened rather than loaded with sugar or harsh artificial sweeteners, and it uses no artificial colors — the goal is a clean taste that makes you want to drink it without turning it into a soda. When something is meant to be a daily habit, the “inactive” ingredients aren’t an afterthought; they’re the difference between a supplement you trust and one you second-guess. Everything on the label earns its place, or it isn’t on the label.
